Safetrack Selected For Reinstatements in South Wales
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council has selected Stirling Lloyd’s advanced road reinstatement products, Safetrack Crack Infill and Safetrack Overbanding, for use throughout the borough.
The Council use their own DLO to carry out reinstatement works and so were looking for products that were easy to use and would enhance site safety.
During their initial experience of Safetrack Crack Infill and Overbanding the Council were impressed with the two products’ simple application and rapid cure that enabled the DLO to carry out works quickly and easily. The Council also liked the cold application, which eliminates the health and safety risks associated with ‘hot trades’ to which, to date, their staff had been exposed.
Safetrack Crack Infill will be used for open cracks over 5mm wide and ‘fretted’ joints while Safetrack Overbanding will be used to seal cracks and joints up to 5mm wide.
The Outcome: Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council are set to use Safetrack Crack Infill and Overbanding regularly.
