Safetrack Stops Skidding in Northern Ireland
Following a recent demonstration to McNicholas Construction in Northern Ireland Stirling Lloyd have supplied the utilities, communications, renewables and rail market service provider with Safetrack HW for an unusual safety enhancing solution.
Stirling Lloyd’s Technical Services Department and Area Manager Charles Stahly demonstrated the full Highways Maintenance Products (HMP) range, which includes road marking, coloured surfacing, anti-skid surfacing, crack and joint repair and patching material.
The outcome: McNicholas Construction were impressed with the HMP range and have initially ordered Safetrack HW to increase safety during road works. The anti-skid surfacing material will be applied onto the steel plates, which bridge temporary road excavations, to provide a high level of skid-resistance for traffic using the plates.
