Safetrack Success in Swansea

Quay Parade, part of the A4067 in Swansea has recently benefited from the application of the Safetrack Crack Infill system.

This busy road had been suffering from potentially dangerous cracks and fretted joints that, if left untreated, would continue to expand and exacerbate the safety concerns.

Contractor Hanson’s laid 500lm of Safetrack Crack Infill, which not only filled the cracks but also supported the edges of the asphalt, protecting the joints and preventing further decay. 

The systems simple and rapid application combined with its speedy cure meant that road users experienced minimal disruption during the project and the road was left benefiting from a system that would provide long-term resistance to the wear effects of heavy trafficking.

The outcome: Both client, Swansea City Council and contractor, Hanson’s were clearly impressed not only by the ease of use of Safetrack crack Infill but also by its in-situ performance as they have committed to the use of the system on future similar projects.
