Stirling Lloyd Speeds up Progress on the M25

Stirling Lloyd’s high strength patch repair, Metaset EPM, has been used in a trial on the M25 near Epping.

With the carriageway at Bell Common Tunnel suffering from extensive pot holes the main contractor requested a trial of Metaset EPM for a comparison with other repair products.

The speed and ease of application of Metaset EPM impressed with the self compacting nature of the product meaning no tamping down was required. Forming an impact and shock resistant surface with skid resistance, immediately after cure and in the long-term, Metaset EPM also supports the edges where the pot hole was and prolongs the life of the road.

The outcome: having impressed the team on-site, Metaset EPM is set to be used in other locations on the M25.
