Safetrack LM Patch Packs Fills Gaps in Newport
Safetrack LM, Stirling Lloyd’s durable road marking system, is being used throughout Newport, South Wales by the local council to reinstate numerous gaps in the road lines throughout the Borough.
With numerous small reinstatements of line markings required, Newport County Borough Council were looking for a solution which would be suitable for smaller sections without the costs of having to heat the material. Following a presentation and a mini trial to the Council they ordered Safetrack LM patch packs in both white and yellow, sufficient to allow them to repair the various gaps in the markings across the Borough.
The outcome: as Stirling Lloyd’s patch packs require no specialist skills the council’s DLO were able to carry out the work, thus saving the costs of outsourcing work. In addition, the health and safety risks for both operatives and the public were reduced as Safetrack LM is a cold liquid applied product.
