THE PROBLEM:

When joints in bituminous materials and concrete roads are not constructed correctly, it can cause serious problems that may lead to unnecessary road maintenance work and costly road refurbishments. Such failures can be avoided by ensuring that the joint construction is done correctly, but regrettably this does not always happen. Roads all across the UK are tarnished with visible signs of cracks and fretted joints, leading to a number of problems such as pot-holing, and spalling of joints in bituminous and concrete roads, that can further lead to significant safety and maintenance issues.

THE SOLUTION: OVERBANDING

Overbanding is the solution to the problem of repairing cracks and fretted joints in asphalt and concrete roads. Safetrack Overbanding is a highly durable skid resistant overbanding system, developed to extend the life of asphalt & concrete by sealing cracks in the road surface. Safetrack Crack Infill is a skid resistant, highly durable infill system for cracks in excess of 5mm. Both systems are cold applied and offer exceptional resistance to wear.

Safetrack Overbanding offers an advanced solution to the inevitable cracks and seams in asphalt and concrete roads and pavements and prevents the resulting premature decay.

Safetrack Crack Infill has been developed to provide the same high quality repair as Safetrack Overbanding where the crack has been left to develop, be it caused by the plucking action of wheels or freeze thaw action and is also used to repair ‘fretted’ or ‘open’ joints in asphalt pavements and road surfaces.
